Donation of Engine No. 70 Head Light
Mr. William Davis and Mrs. Lois (Walker) Davis were in possession of the head light from Engine No. 70. Lois is the daughter of the late Carlos Walker who was an employee of the PS&N Railroad and after it shut down worked for the contractor that was taking up the railroad for scrap.
The Davis family wished to donate the light to the PS&N Railroad Historical Society in Angelica.
Bob Sanders (far left) and John Muchler (second from left) met with them at the museum on June 21, 2014 and took possession of the light.
The headlight was then moved inside the freight room of the station. It still works when plugged into the electric outlet!
It is now on display for all to see.
